I’m so jealous. My whole life is about trying to slow down. Life is too short to go and rush things along, IMO.
Florida is slow…move to NYC, then move back to Florida…it’ll feel like the world is in slow motion. I love Florida’s weather but I can’t stand how slow everything is…especially the old people…ahh!

South Florida is not slow. There are over 1,000 per day that move here, and they are not majority seniors. Maybe its been a while since you visited and you probably were hitting tourist spots. Compared to some other major metro areas like NY, Chicago, Boston, and it doesnt stack up. However, between the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami areas, I guarantee it is in the top 10-12 cities when it comes to how fast the minute flies. I travel enough to know that many areas are slower than South Florida, IMHO.
Are there really any cities that can truely compare with the New York minute? Probably not.
Congrats again on your move, though. Good luck becoming a lawyer. As well as you debate in this medium, I am sure you will represent your clients well.
