For a while my dual monitors were being run on an nVidia based system. Recently I decided to switch things around and do a dual setup on my ATI based system. Although my ATI is lightyears ahead of my nVidia, its pretty cheap on dual monitor software.

My nVidia allowed me to do dual wallpaper, lock the screen, etc, none of which ATI offered. I went searching for a program to do it for me and I found one that works real well.

The program is called UltraMon   it’s pretty powerful and provides a free demo.

Just thought i’d pass this along to other multimonitor people, I found it very usefull.

I second the motion. I use this software at both work and home. I recently upgraded to an nVidia card from ATi, but I still use the smart taskbar, monitor profiles, wallpaper functions and icon restore.
