I need a second hard-drive case so i can mount my second harddrive inside my dell dimension 2400.  however, the hard-drive mount inside there can only support 1 hd, but i believe there is room for second hard-drive mount, therefore i need to buy one to fit my second HD.

i call support and they said that spare part is not for sale. i never believe that BS, therefore i m looking for phone number that can get me straight thru the spare parts dept.

well, i m looking for mount case, not external case.  preferable OEM dell so it can fit perfectly.  aftermarket mount case is not that perfect and expensive ($30)

are you referring to those rails on which the hdd’s sit? If so my dimension 8200 cabinet had a few spare ones in the space below the harddrive…they were fixed to the cabinet….your’s also might be there
