So I bought a sweet TR2/B in Japan and immediately upgraded to Windows XP Professional. I got all the working drivers from Sony America’s TR2/AP site - except the Motion Eye camera.
I’ve tried everything: doing the battery trick, changing the power management to Off, even trying basically every camera driver I can find on the American site to no avail.
Ok, You mean that you do not have any trace of webcam on your comp. Then you should do following. Please restore Japanese Windows, you should have an utility on special partion on your HD. And check if camera available. Then reinstall English Windows with SP1, then add Microsoft Camera Fix and other soft. In case you need Camera Fix mail me and I get it for you.
where do you find the power option on the device manager page?
I have the USB (third one) pointing to camera, drivers for camera are there, but i couldn’t find how to turn off power management??
