You can thank you excellent article on adding bluetooth to the TR models for my joining.  This has to be the best site for Sony TR information I have come across (actually it’s one of the only as well).

A liitle over 100 actually post.  Is that a good ratio?  I’m just asking because I have no clue whats normal, but I have often thought where this might go if we keep it limited to just the TR.  Almost 150 who have never potsed.  What happens to them?  Are they eventually deleted or do they stay in the database?

Fairly soon. I don’t like reviewing stuff until I’ve really had a chance to use them thoroughly. I normally find out all sorts of interesting stuff after longer usage. And I can give you that “live with it” type of perspective.

Are you doing the same with the U70?

Nope. I don’t have a U70…i did get to play with a U50 but that’s harder to write since I didn’t have much time with it.

I hope it does stay focused on the TR. That was and remains the attraction for me. Originally it helped me solidify my decision to buy a TR, now I’m looking to it for ongoing solutions and interesting related toys and topics.

As for the numbers, they sound pretty good. Fifteen percent active member participation is decent for any organization. The 150 no-posters may include a few lurkers, but most of them likely found, or didn’t find, what they were looking for and moved on. Had I decided the TR wasn’t for me, I’d be one of them.
