Is there ANY way to dedicate more than 64MB of your systems RAM to video memory? 
I have 1GB or ram so I could definitely give up 128MB to video.
I just need this BADLY as 90% of the time I decide use my TR as a desktop, (mind you it isn’t my primary desktop..but I love my TR so much I ignore my clunky and ugly (although customized) desktop.) I have it plugged into a secondary monitor and will watch a movie on the TR’s TIGHT widescreen and use the other screen for watever.
BUT ... anytime I load a new webpage the movie screen will freeze for at least 2 seconds and its VERY annoying.
Any help…...........please…...................no one?.....

I just don’t have any money to spend right now on getting an external video card like a Sidecar or maybe something like is offered by Magma .
But if there is no other way to extend the shared memory I may just have to save up for it.  Thanks any help would be great.

The Intel 855 chipset cannot address more than 64MB of memory. However, because it’s technically AGP, it can access more of the main memory as texture memory. At any rate, in real practicality, 64MB is the max.

SHUCKS 8) ... Ok well thanks…. guess ill just have to get one of the external video cards :? ...probably a good investment either way.
