There was a feature in the fifth version (porsche unleashed) that I wish was in the sixth (HP 2):

- Tracking who is in what place and how many feet they are in front of / behind you.

I have not played Underground yet, but I hope they made some nice improvements. :D

NFS U is a totally different NFS game…its not really into the simulation as much as ‘hooking up your car’ and the dumb thing is the upgrades are purely visual since they don’t tell you how much power you have now or after the turbo…dumb IMO. There is NFS U2 coming out, hopefully it will be a bit better.

As for your specific request, I don’t really pay attention to how far they are in front or behind, that usually makes me think too much and I crash…I just look at the road ahead and see what I can do.

We only had a 10-year wait for Doom 3. I wonder how long it’s eventually going to be for Duke Forever. I’m starting to think that it’s just an enormous practical joke by George Broussard.

I liked the original Quake, especially the Action Quake mod, but the sequels got progressively worse until Unreal Tournament rocked my world.

Yeah. I think duke was the most original…i loved those laser mine things…I would set them all around and wait until they walked into them…hehe.

Well, I’m just thinking…for those that travel frequently and get stuck in hotels and can’t bring their budget computers with them then having a notebook that can play some games might be attractive.

Original Quake was awesome. I spent a lot of time making custom skins so my buddies and I could be team Smurfs. Hell yes, I created Papa Smurf, Grandpa Smurf, Handi Smurf, Hefty, and generic Smurf. I also created a smurf level complete with mushroom levels using QED…ah, the good old days. Of course, once I bought my first 3dfx Voodoo graphics card then Quake became something really special.

I agree if you travel….It would be fun to play a few games.  :D Smurf sounds like it was fun… :D

Did you fight against Gargamel and Azreal skins?
