Thought i would share a brief low down on these as been using one for some time..
I originally got one by work and had to go partly for this design because of the terrible design of my works Fujitsu lifebook E7010. The two usb sockets were so close together and next to the power plug a pen style storage device would not fit. At the time i never thought of using a small usb extension cable, but hey how i have been more than happy and find because it fits in my wallet I take it every where.
One point I was worried about was the connection of the small cable to the card but with over 6 months of use and abuse it has been fine and show no signs of stress.
It comes with a range of small apps and a very good sounding one for email. It can be used to collect email from a number of accounts and will run direct from the usb card. Good idea but did not like the idea of if doing no virus checking etc and you would have to reply on what some one had installe don the machine you used it on, but i guess you can have the same issue if you check you email by web and download attachments etc.
