Just one question for you tifosi, what bluetooth software where you using for your test ? (Bluespace .... )
Yeah, Bluespace. I couldn’t get the mouse to work with Bluespace, I was forced to use Windows Wireless Link.
Erik
Prior to SP2 I used bluespace and was able to pair with my T68 phone for dial-up and other functions. HID supported a BT mouse. Serial supported my BT GPS unit.
Under SP2 I don’t even load bluespace. Wireless setup found and authenticated every device.
Trying to find this Apple BT keyboard on the UK websites but till now on almost all of them it says Windows not supported. Is there some different one that supports windows ..

meaning if isn’t designed for windows and some keys won’t work..if you decide to use it with a pc..no support will be available. there’s currently only one bluetooth keyboard made by apple..
just as long as you are aware of the shortcomings..yes it will work with the tr.. i been using it with the intergrated bluetooth on the tr for several months now and its been working great.
you are right about unable to use bt keyboard for when entering bios. i can use it for the windows login screen though sometimes i notice a slight delay with the apple bt keyboard upon a fresh boot.
[quote author=“Anonymous”]can you use the mouse buttons without installing logitech software?
Yeah, I have a Logitch Optic USB Wired mouse, and didn’t install any of their software. However, for wireless, I think you do, only because it’s a proprietary software.
CSR supplies the chipsets for the Sony BT parts, and most other commonly available dongles. Widcomm writes BT software for Windows. MS has its own software that’s either packaged with the dongle and included in SP2.
