love this software, but is there a newer version anywhere? i just got the doc all set the way i wanted, and now everytime i go to change an icon (they were folders dragged to the dock) the program crashes.  I can add things, subtract things - except for the life of me can’t get rid of seperators, even though i know how - but whenever i try to change an icon, boom.  any tips?

No updates available. Technically, the software isn’t legal to distribute. Apple told the developer to fuck of… err… cease and disist distribution.

Hold CTRL and drag sparators off the dock. You must have at least one separator or reality will cease to exist. I don’t know about the crashing thing. I’ve always had very good luck with it. If all else fails, try just deleting the entire directory and starting over from scratch using the files straight from the ZIp file (save any PNGs first). You might also want to try running the latest version of the 82852/82855 GM/GME drivers.

this forum is great!  thanks for that fast advice, i see what u mean, u HAVE to have one seperator…. is .0.8.3 the LATEST out there? and what the f***s up with apple, pickin on little old Yamaguchi like that…

its a strange problem, i created the toolbar - took considerable amount of time… u suggest just starting all over again?  i think i’ll just not change the icons :wink:

ps. ill try the drive, looks like there is a new one dated 3/14/2004…the one i have says 3/13/2003 but its hard to tell as the driver does not have a proper “about” screen.

Well, whaddya know.  Apple’s turning into Microsoft.  Next thing you know, they’ll issue a monopoly cease and desist on their iPods. haha.

just to close this thread out, Yzdock is working again, no way of knowing why…funny, this is my favorite utility on my TR besides Rainmeter and StyleXP…and they all make my TR expierence more mac like.

i was really suprised to hear that Apple would pic on a little guy like that, that’s behavior no better than MS, Intel, and all the rest of the big butt boys.  wonder who will be the next innovative little guy?  maybe those alien gamer people….
