I turned on the Firewall in Norton but now I cant Find where to turn it off.
The help says go to the Rules,Trojan Rules etc and Modify.
But I cant find the rules section.

Whaaaa?  Norton Antivirus does not have a firewall…u must have one of the Norton Suites?  And that u think is messing with iTunes?  how could that be?  I don’t think u want to be turning off a firewall everytime u want to listen to music,,,that’s not safe.  Exspecially if u are using iTunes to download music with a modem, that gives those hackratbastards plenty of time to screw with u (what’s ur IP?) Seriously, we all care for your TR’s health and well being, so don’t do anything stupid.  Try itunes 4.6 just out, or another firewall like Kerio or ZoneAlarm. They work with iTunes just fine. Local, not over the Internet. Apple disabled Internet listening early in iTunes history.

The firewall i turned on is definately in the norton antivirus that comes pre installed. I can find the date and the time i turned it on, (through the log)but cant find the place to turn it off.

It means i cant access my wireless network so i have to sit in front of my desktop PC and not on the sofa watching Henman (yawn) or Roonaldo.

Help please.

If yours is a UK machine like mine it most likely came with Norton Internet Security 2004 Pre-installed.

To Turn Off double-click the World type icon that should be on your desktop or task tray - then select the Firewall Option which should show an option on LHS of page to disable.

But, why not just configure the firewall to allow access over your network (again in the options, to allow DNS addresses which you should find from looking at your WiFi/Network adaptors).
