Of course, you might not call it surfing. More like get on and get off the board sort of thing. But this is a little extreme…the way I see it, the caustic nature of the water will eventually degrade whatever seal is keeping this machine to the board. Also, is it removable?  Cause it would be weird, to have to tote that around the beach while trying to check your email.

Hehe, just kidding.

I agree wholeheartedly.  When I’m on that wave, it’s not like I’ll be like, hm…wonder what the stock in Tokyo’s doing, or, did i email grandma today? NO! It’s more like, Sweeeeeeet wave man!  (without the surfer accent, mind you)  The only way i see that as being viable is if there was a beach wireless net, and it could be removed and replaced easily.  So if you got your board with you, you got a laptop too smile
