Just a suggestion grOOvy…I think this topic would be a great sticky….
Last night I played with and download….sidebar, desktops, themes, skins all kinds of usefull programs to make my desktop look absolutely “sick.”
Even my wife was inpressed with my desktop showing the current weather outside and what is to come…..
I didn’t download these programs before,,cause I thought it would take up too much memory…
Since I only have 512…..I am only using 50%.....I will still pick up a stick of 512 later…but this is working great….
I don’t use intensive programs…..just like word and excel….and some other low memory types…
I can’t believe how much nicer my desktop looks now!!!!!

[quote author=“Drachen”]Ouch. J-pop idol. :| :shiver:
In the meantime, I think I have a better background [PNG 225k] for my VS.
It should annoy at least one regular poster…
I love that background…>Drachen….My wife was that found of it when she first saw it
It looks so nice with the sidebar in silver and the object dock thingy…. up top….alll in silver…... I love the look…..
I am actually going to add some ram just so I can run more of these cool programs…..

I love it. It’s just like my hardcopy random access filing system, multiple stacks of paper six to twelve inches high.
Do you ever use the START button?

That’s pretty much what my brother’s desktop (and my bosses for that matter) looks like. Last April Fools I took a screenshot of his desktop, used it for wallpaper and unchecked Show Desktop Icons.

Brilliant. Simply brilliant! I will have to do that to one of my friends I work with, because we’re always playing jokes on each other.

LMFAO.
My other PC has 2 monitors, icons fill up both of them…most people cant use my PC, they say it drives them nuts! My TR was clean though, only around 5 icons.
It may look messy, but I know exactly where everything is.
One issue…having things on your desktop (icons, files, etc) slows your computer down…I realize this, but just don’t care.

Nice! Thats so funny…I am going to have to do that to my father in-law…he’s desktop looks just like Eriks….
I keep my TR very clean….For my desktop I don’t mind a few extra icons….But, no way near were you can’t figure out what the wallpaper is.
