I haven’t received my TR yet but I’m trying to predict, and iron out, any expected wrinkles before it arrives.

Yes I’m hoping I’ll be able to run the game in a widescreen mode, and yes would love to go full screen i.e. 1280x768. (thou I expect to have to do some tweaking to make this work)

Any hope do you think, or just a lost cause?

Just out of interest, if I run a game at say 1024x768, does the TR just add black boarders round the sides?

im not much of a gamer but i play 3-d chess, gta4 vice city, stuff like that and i have never seen a problem, it just fills the screen by default.  there is a setting in the Intel Extreme Graphics driver that u get called Full Screen (no border) which i always have checked.  My machine is set to run in 1024x600 but i guess the games just take over and do what they want to do.  I dont mind, it’s all good. good luck!

Just to clear this up guys… red alert 2 has native 1024x600 resolution, so your tr will interpolate to 1280x768 but everything will be the correct aspect ratio and will look great.

I also have the yuri’s revenge disc so am not sure if the wide aspect res was patched on with the update on that cd.
