I just got an NW-E3 SONY Network walkman for about 20 dollars.  Problem, no cords/software.  Anybody know of any places to find the cords or the software, or is the software basically the one used to power their awful ‘Connect’ internet service?

Yeah, you can basically use any version of Sonic Stage 1.5 or higher (2.0 for connect) or you can use Real Player 10 (or whatever its called now) which has ATRAC abilities and supports Sony devices.

Those are basically your only two options. Real Player isn’t nearly as bad as Sonic Stage so you might actually not mind it even if it is on the heavy side.

It depends on your model. You can get the cable at some electronics stores. It might be a mini-USB cable…or it might be that one super small mini-USB cable that looks like a little square.
