I was wondering if anyone has installed and used this privacy screen on their TR?  If so, how much does it dim the brightness of the screen and how much weight does it add?  Does the screen interfere with closing the lid in any way?  Here is the link to the Sony Style page:

The part # for the privacy screen is PCGA-FL6. I found it HORRIBLE…

The stupid Sony people expect u to have long nails to take that damn thing out once u fit it in. But it’s real hard to take it out..even sliding it didn’t help me…ultimately I got so desperate that I started pressing the screen real hard in an attempt to get it out…I ruined my TR in an attempt to take it out…luckily it just struck my mind then to use a piece of scotch tape to take out 1 end and the rest was trivial.

Another thing…it does it’s work quite well but the screen appears quite grainy.

I gave it a shot and returned it on the same day. It doesn’t interfere with anything, as it slides into the little gap between the bezel and the display. It really does its job well, but the viewing angle was even more limited than I had thought. Also, the screen appears dimmer, so you’ll need to bump up the brightness, costing you battery life if you’re away from an outlet.
