One of the reasons I love the TR so much is this site.  As I have mentioned before, I am not a geek for a living, just a hobby.  So, I am not exposed to nearly as much as some of the folks here who have enormous tech backgrounds.  That said, if other sections were made for the S Type or the Sony “U” section, then it would give me the confidence to purchase those gadgets and grow with the knowledge and experience of my peers here.

In other words, I can’t do it without you guys. :wink:

I’d second that, TruthSeeker.  I’ve been reading for a while, though I just recently joined.  I love this Forum as well as the reviews.  It’s good stuff.

Hey gr00vy, any hints on the item giveaways?  We should do a ‘promote Sony TR world’ event like ipodlounge’s ad deal.  Especially if you started giving away iPods.  Heck, I’d run naked through LA for one of those.

I don’t have iPods to give out…you wish. Also, iPods would be the furthest thing in my mind to give away. There’s plenty of other stuff I’d start with first. At any rate, you’ll have more details soon. I don’t think I can give you any details that wouldn’t give it away.  :wink:

Maybe the first item to give away should be a booklet teaching us how to pull off those funky dance moves you do. :D

My TR’s finally coming later this week!  Sounds like right about the time this site is going to be down for your move.  Gr00vy0ne, do you know when/how long the site will be down?  I’m sure that’s tough to answer, but thought I’d ask.

It depends on the DNS servers and your area….it should be 24-48 hours in most cases. Before I do it, I will give you guys ample warning and send out an e-mail with the temporary IP address just in case you. So, make sure you member profile is updated with a current e-mail address.
