Hi all,
I put some copies of my band’s new EP on Ebay, and theres only a few hours to go! They currently only cost £2.00 (+P+P) - we’re normally selling them for a fiver on our website.
All the recording and mixing was sone on my trusty TR, and we’re trying to drum up as much support overseas as possible - the copies on Ebay will be signed, and may be worth a fortune shortly (I hope!!)
If any of you kind folks feel like taking a chance on some new music then please feel free to place a bid - there’s 10 copies available, and you’d make a TR user very happy!
Check out our website below to hear some of the tracks in advance - we’re write catchy pop tunes that are both mellow and intricate , catchy yet original.
Thanks all! :D

Just out of curiosity, you have a label?

Our manager is talking to a few at the moment, but it’s long drawn out process..the best interest we have had is from the US, and we’ve got a guy in LA who is championing our cause, then we have a couple of indie labels in AUS / NZ who want us over there, and the UK labels, well, let’s just say they’re being ‘difficult’!
Ideally we’d like to stay independent, and have our own label, so we’re looking into the possibilities of that also, however then you tend to get issues with marketing and distribution :?
The interest is there, it’s securing a decent deal that is the difficult thing.

That was me by the way above - seemed to have logged out for no reason!
The auction has ended, but if you like the tracks you can still get a copy from our website.

If most record companies did that, nobody would buy CDs.

Yup. But at this stage we’re more concerned with getting good feedback, and distributing cd’s to people around the world. It may cost us initially, but our fan base is growing, which gives us leverage when in discussions with companies. We’re lucky in that we have a worldwide fan base, as Leigh is from New Zealand, and has many fans over there already, I’m from the UK (as is the rest of the band), and we have some good contacts in the States. We hope that by being genuine about our music we will attract visitors to our website to hear us, and if they like us, to support us!

Wow, “Between Our Windows” and “Something Beautiful” are really good.
It all sounds great!
It’s like…Bjork meets Lisa Ekman…with a bit of Tori Amos thrown in for flavor (these are also some o my favorite female singers as well)

Ahhhh..at last we now have an artist or two that we can say we sound like - it’s been really difficult trying to describe our music without putting anyone off!
We’d heard the Bjork comparison before, but Tori had slipped my mind, and I’ve yet to hear Lisa Ekman..
Thanks for your kind comments!
We’re working on our 2nd EP right now, and have a new track available to folk who bought the CD.. :D

I like the look of your website. The music isn’t really my bag but it sounds good. The vocal reminds me a bit of Lamb.
Hope you get a deal.

Cheers - thanks for your comments, I know we won’t appeal to everybody, and all criticism is valid.
