Hi guys,

I just upgraded the optical drive to the Matshita UJ-812 drive…  However, i’m having problems burning cdr’s…  I tested other aspects of the drive and all else seems well, but the drive doesn’t seem to want to burn.  I’m using Nero 6 Ultra Edition.  Any help regarding this matter is much appreciated.

did you update the firmware?

I didn’t update the firmware…  Am I supposed to?  If so, where might I obtain the update?

Hrm…  I just tried burning some files via window’s default burning software, and I was able to burn successfully…  Perhaps it’s just a software issue?  I’ll try a reinstall of Nero and see if that helps…

Problem solved…  I downloaded the update for Nero 6 v 3.1.1.10 and it fixed the problem.
