I want to connect a parallel printer to my TR1A. Would any ole USB to parallel adapter work, or are there issues of which I should be aware?

Although it’s a quite a bit more than a USB-to-Parallel, you might look into something like this. I bought one a few weeks back at a local Fry’s Electronics and then discovered what appears to be the same thing at Tiger Direct. I paid about $40, but this looks like a pretty good deal and works well with my old parallel 4MV LaserJet.
