has anyone ever dropped their TR?
i did once. but it was like 6 inches above the surface with CK5T covered. and no problem with mine so far.  8) i think i got luckey :D

Yes! My class was out for a ‘nature-appreciation walk’ (read: the teacher was high…it is a liberal campus) and I was wearing birkenstocks and carrying my TR on my shoulder while walking and talking, and being the genius that I am, i wandered off the trail with some friends and into some mud.  Luckily though, my TR was in the SonyStyle Neoprene case, and even if it fell about four feet, it was a little muddy, but okay.  As for me…I had to spend the rest of the day convincing people the muddly look was Abercrombie & Fitch’s fall 2004 lineup. Sadly enough, I actually got people to believe I paid 150 for the mud stains on my jeans.

Never a drop…

I did drop my Acer several times…I kept thinking I closed the case, i’d pick it up and the Acer would slide out…woops. No damage any of the times.

b4 the Fine TR I had a Compaq persario…that thing was a monster..I must have dropped it hundreds of times with no case protection..no internal damages but the case was cracked, nicked and scrached…sold it for mere $500

I havn’t dropped it yet, but i did fall up the stairs carrying it, and it took a bumb but no mark left… There was also that time I put it on the dash of my car, and turning right out of the end of my road, it slid all the way over and down into the footwell! Fortunatly, but girlfriend did break its fall some what, again no damage, but it was in the cloth bag i use that time.
