I bought mine at Outpost.com. They were getting rid of them as the new model was coming out and they knocked out $300 off the price and I got free shipping. I was extremely happy.
I bought my TR2A off Ebay for a great price, which included Office 2003. It was only 2-3 weeks old, since his wife thought the screen was too small for her.
There is always some risk, but there are ways to minimize it as well. Perhaps I have been fortunate, but I have bought much more expensive things off of Ebay, and haven’t experienced any problems so far.
I bought mine from Comp USA. They were advertising $2199 but when I asked the sales guy if he could do better on the price (because I was looking at the fujitsu” he came down to $2048. Not bad for just asking….. I didn’t realize they did that at CompUSA..
Bought my TR1MP in Dixons, Manchester (UK), on a whim. It called out to me from across the store - love at first sight and I didn’t care about the price.
When you’ve gotta have it, it’s gotta be now :D

Yeah I bought my TR2 on a whim as well, when my student loan came through for the summer :oops: Bought it off ebay tho to get most for my money and I’ve never had any issues from buying off there.
