Is anyone else using a Microsoft mouse with IntelliPoint software? I installed it on my TR, but whenever I go into the Mouse control panel, the options are for the Sony trackpad. Installing the same software on my XP desktop makes the IntelliPoint control panel come up.

I can’t map the extra buttons on the IntelliMouse Explorer because of this, does anyone know how to get the Microsoft control panel to come up instead of the Sony one? Thanks!

I had a similar issue except the Microsoft software overtook the Sony software which sucked because I couldn’t use the cool features of the trackpad.

I’m still looking for a solution for this problem. I’ll let you know if I can find a solution since it’s annoying. For the time being, I’m simply not using the microsoft software since i use my trackpad more often.

Thanks for the reply gr00vy0ne, I wish I had your problem. It’s pretty strange how the Sony software won’t let the MS software load, even though it worked fine on my SR. Oh well, at least the keyboard control panel works!

gr00vy, i just downloaded the new touchpad drivers from the sony website and (after installing my MS bluetooth mouse removed them) it put the touchpad options back up, along with the MS mouse options as well.
