I’ guessing that these are simple settings -

1) I’m finding that frequently, when surfing the web, if I go back and touch the touchpad I will somehow simulate clicking the browser’s back button and find myself back a page.  I’ve disabled the touchpad’s tap feature (prefer to use the buttons to click). What is causing the back navigation when I touch the touchpad - how do I stop it.

2) My TR came configured to work like a Mac - One click on any icon launches the application or opens the item.  I prefer to double click. How can I change the setting to require a double rather than single click.

Folder Options in the Control Panel will help with the “double-click” selection option.

I figured out the second problem - the involuntary back navigation when surfing…. it was a touchpad setting. Contol Panle/Mouse/Tapping/Web Assistant - disabled the “web assistant” and got rid of that silly feature.

Thanks for the tip, Lumpydog.  It was VERY rare, but I would run into the same back brwser issue.  The correct mapping on this is: Control panel/Mouse/Functions - then uncheck web assistant.

That could be the difference.  Either way, it will not be difficult to find for anyone else having this issue.
