I installed this MS Hotfix last night and immediately lost my wireless connection (no internet, no access to my network) - however, wireless reception was showing as excellent and internet access on my PC that was wired to Linksysy WRT54G wireless router was fine.

I Rebooted my TR and got my internet access back, but eventually lost it again (same problems - excellent reception but no interntet or network access). 

I’ve also found that, when I reboot, the wireless network connection icon in the sys tray was sometimes not appearing and I had no internet connection - or it took 2-3 minutes after reboot for it to appear, but when it did, no internet connection. After several reboots, the wireless icon loads properly (immediately) and I have internet access and network access.

I just uninstalled KB840374 and so far so good.

Anyone else seeing this?

I installed this on 25 computers yesterday…no issues, however only 2 were notebooks, neither of which had issues, but both use their own WiFi software, not the one built-in to Windows.

I installed that one a few days ago on my TR2AP1 and thus far have not noticed any problems.

Thanks for the feedback guys - that’s the trouble w/a new PC - when you hit issues it’s hard to tell whether it was a variable you just changed or a problem that just hasn’t had enough time to appear.

I’ll keep an eye on this, re-install the patch later and see if I hit the same problem.
