Loose battery

All:

I just purchased a TR3A and am loving this laptop.

Question - the battery is a little loose - it has some “wiggle room”.  It’s really only noticable while the TR3 is resting in my lap or on my chest - when it the laptop shifts I can feel and hear the battery move.  I’ve checked to make sure that it’s firmly seated and it is.

Is this normal?

Some TRs have this issue, if you search the forum you will notice it comes up several times.

My TR does not do this so I can’t really tell you how to fix it, but if you find the other threads maybe someone has a solution.

Did you lock the battery?  I had the same issue before ... make sure it is locked!

Mine has been loose since day one.  As long as it stays in there, its connected.  You’ll be fine.
