you need the extended battery. the regular one is just not cutting it if you use WIFI alot. get yourself a PEGA-EB40 CLIÉ™ Extended Battery.

Thanks for the responses…one more question…I wasn’t able to watch a normal mpeg either from the memory stick card. It appears that I need to install an app named giga pocket plugin on my comp which will convert the file so that I can view it on my Clie. However, when I try to install it gives me some error saying that it needs 1 more component to be present for me to able to install. How to get over this problem ?

I forgot the name of the program, I don’t think its Giga Pocket, but one of them converts the files to .mqv (.mov) and that one is free and on the CD that came with your Clie. I am not sure which file is missing, but I would look for the other one…unless they don’t include it with the UX…which is possible.

I think you use image converter software.

you need to install the image converter program that’s on your clie cd. most mpeg you can just rename the file extension to MQV. ie MOV0001.MQV, MOV0002.MQV. otherwise stick with the image converter, it’s kinda slow but it works fine.

Yeah, thats it, the same one that converts images….Clie Image Converter…it should be on the CD.

Thanks, I’ll try it out tonight and let you’ll know if it worked. I might ask a few more questions regarding my Clie since I am a complete novice as far as PDA’s go. I will also refer to cliesource.com as suggested for tifosi to not be such a big harassment also

Thanks ppl it worked but took many hours for the conversion and didn’t have ne sound in the converted file…may be will have to play around a bit more to get things to work right.

I would mess around with a small file until you get the settings right, don’t waste your time.
