I don’t know when I will be in Japan next, but when I get there I will be looking forward to some hands on time with the NEC LaVie (if I can track one down).  If I make it out there in the near future I will be sure to report my impressions.  I not only have to get to Japan but I also have to be there long enough to check out the stores.  Sometimes I am only there for about 16 hours…eat - sleep - leave for US.  Ahhh the glamor.

It is good to see more companys taking time to make laptops with a great form factor. Until I discovered the TR I thought all pc’s were damn ugly.
I would not have bought this new machine instead of the TR I just got though as the size of the Sony is perfect for my commuting between work and home. I wouldn’t change a thing about the Sony chasis.
