I just bought my new favorite accessory - a teeny tiny Targus “Ultra Mini Optical Retractable Mouse” - it is great. I thought I’d want a cordless mouse but this has a retractable cord and so it’s one less piece to worry about.
Welcome to the this zany group! Sorry, I don’t personally have any Linux install guides but there are some links to successful Linux installations in the Linux forum and some members have been pretty successful with theirs.
Unfortunately, I’m not a huge Linux user as I’m mostly unimpressed with the platform from a complete usability standpoint. :wink:
This morning, I decided to have linux on my laptop..
Tired of all of windows problems..
Sitting at my desk at 9:30am, all of a sudden my computer is telling me it is going to reboot in 30 seconds. the LSASS worm..
I can put up with viruses or worms that got on my computer because of some action of mine..
But when my computer gets infected with something, that there wasn’t any real prevention against…

When you decide to install the internal Bluetooth, you can get a Bluetooth mouse which will give you both the wireless function and no extra pieces to worry about.
I’ve only had my TR1MP for about 6 months but am suitably impressed:

[list]Games run okay- have tried Call of Duty, Unreal Tournament 2004, Halo, etc. Only game that had issues was Need for Speed.[/list:u]
[list]Wireless works well- though my performance increases when using intel ap.[/list:u]
[list]Linux runs okay, with right modifications, will soon install with intel drivers[/list:u]
Paid £1656 for the boy, plus another £97 for 512 MB U/g…
