A lot of people have expressed interest in something like this on this board, and this press release makes it sounds like a winner.

Nice!  Now you can make your mobile pc into a mobile t.v.  Wonder how large/mobile and what the doo-hickey looks like.  Any pics yet?

I’m not too concerned about the size…as long as it has S-video in and out abilities. One would assume that it does since all their other products do. The out is most interesting in that it would help give out TV-out abilities on the TR without needing a separate adapter like the GrandTec unit I reviewed.

As always, I’ll keep an eye on this thing for inclusion into my evil gadget laboratory.  :wink:

This one is specifically designed to be a PVR, where the other one is just a video source.
