[quote author=“Rahul”][quote author=“VAIO Jet”]It’s been mentioned on this forum before but it’s worth requesting again:
The JOG DIAL.
pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is that :?: :?:
A scroll wheel placed somewhere on the mouse/keyboard area that allows you to scroll down webpages with one finger…you can also remap it to do many things.
All Sony PDAs and most modern mice contain some sort of scroll wheel.
ahh, thats no big deal for me then…my wireless optical mouse has a scroll wheel and I usually use the mouse if I need to use my TR for an extended period of time
having it on the palm rest of the tr would be great but then wouldn’t there be a slight gap created because of it when u close the lid ?

Usually its recessed (sp?) so the lid closes fine.

Some of the older Sony notebooks had the Jog Dial located on the side of the computer so that it didn’t impact any of the other input devices.
