So, I’m excited about my new TR, but as a mere mortal will not be cracking it open to install an internal bluetooth (always sucked at that game “Operation” as a kid)!

I have ordered the TR3, so it has the wifi capability, but I’m wondering what I would need to set up for bluetooth. My MAC doesn’t have wireless capabilities so I’m assuming I need a bluetooth access point to plug my non bluetooth printer and MAC into, a bluetooth adapter for my TR, and then I should be able to use a bluetooth keyboard/mouse. I’m not certain I’ll use the bluetooth all that much (my phone doesn’t work with it - its a Nextel blackberry).

Are there other applications for bluetooth that I haven’t thought of?

Also, for the Sony TR, you can use Sony’s USB Bluetooth adapter or one of the many other Bluetooth adapters on the market. Supposedly, the TDK one is supposed to be really good as well.

What kind of Mac do you have?

It’s an iMAC desktop - running OSX (10.2.8) - I love it for family things (music, photos, etc.) but now am willing to concede that I’m not going to change the entire PC world into MAC users.

I work in emergency services, so setting up remote access to work is already difficult - add to that the MAC/PC interface and it’s driving me crazy!

The nice thing is that my kids are just going into school and the schools here all use MACs, so I will surrender access to the MAC to the rest of the family and hoard my TR!

As a new user I really wanted to thank you “GrOOvyOne” for all your help on this forum - I am buying the computer sight unseen (I’ve seen the Vaios, seen the XBrite screen, just not the TR specifically).
