I really hope this isn’t taken as a shameless plug for my band - it’s not intended to be, if considered so I’ll happily remove the post.

After contributing to a music related post on here this week I just thought I’d share with the group what my TR has done for me and my band.

I used it to record our new EP and master the original CDs - in fact everything was done on the TR…. I used to use a Toshiba S5200-902, but the TR1 is just as capable and far more portable. It runs all my software, and external USB hard drive and sound card and stil comes back for more!

Just found a really nice case too - in PC World (UK) of all places. its made of an interesting material that you can apparently drop an egg onto and it won’t crack (yet to try it and it only cost £10!! I’ll post some pics and a link later.

Thanks, tifosiv - I’m about to re-do the website so it’s a little more standards compliant, and as we have people from all over the world looking at it (I’m from the UK, Leigh is from New Zealand) then I want to make sure it reaches the maximum audience! Another chance to put the TR to good use, heheh..I’m worried that I’ll wear it out at this rate.

Just had my external backup drive bomb out on me - what are you supposed to do - backup your backups??
