what do you guys use to clean your keyboard area. would it be a good idea to use air compressor to blow all those dusts out? :D
[ps. also i got question if anyone knows] while i was using my belkin air blaster or whatever it called to my TR, suddenly there was a little white could of liquid came out and spread all over the TR. it evaporated really fast and gone it liked 2 second. the question is ,will that chemical harm the plastic on TR? at the label of the product says not to use with camera minor.

The white stuff is the compressed air in its natural form (I think) and you didn’t let it hit the air fast enough. This can be caused by shaking the can while spraying…or spraying upside down…or spraying in long bursts. Your only supposed to spray in short bursts. IT’s not good for you to get that on the KB, but ive never seen or heard it killing the KB, so don’t worry.
I use a similar Compressed air and I have a mini-vacume and a brush. Seems to do the job.
You can also slightly dampen a Q-Tip and use it to swab the keys to get off dirt that can’t be blown off.
Otherwise, the compressed air works like a charm especially in the crevices.
One interesting note: I’m sure they most companies changed their formula by now but a few years ago, so cans of compressed air were actually flammable. So, if you held the can upside down, sprayed the white stuff out, and lit it then it would ignite into flames.
And yes, me and my coworkers found that out the hard way. We were at work late at night messing around and one guy took out his lighter as we were spraying that stuff in the air. It basically created a fairly large cloud of fire sucking in all available oxygen in the vicinity for a few seconds. We were first stunned by the awesome sight of a fire cloud…it’s totally different than your hairspray/DW40 plus lighter fire…as it’s just instant combustion…but then a second later we were gasping for air like fish out of water. We all ran outside the office like mad gasping for air…right as the building security was walking by. Of course, they knew us and knew we were up to no good and kept on walking shaking their heads.
[Public Service Announcement] Groovyone says, “kids, don’t play with fire and don’t try this at home.”
[quote author=“Mighty Matt”]What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger… or so my grandpa says!
Exactly! Except for the dude who was holding the lighter who singed the hairs on his arm. I’m not sure if it made them stronger but they sure grew out funny…and the smell was awful.

Lol, my last car had a nitrous setup…one time the bottle wasn’t completely closed and I tried to use it…nitrous sprayed all over my trunk, froze everything…too funny.
