I am a keyboard person.  I use the keyboard for editing text, not the mouse.  I have to say the thing I like least about my TR is the lack of dedicated Home and End keys.  Can I program any shortcuts to emulate Shift-Home and Shift-End with that hotkeys thing?  Any other suggestions other than an external keyboard?

Yeah, I would just keep practicing using the keyboard and various Fn combinations. I do a lot of coding and have become extremely efficient using the combinations. It takes only a little training to become proficient. Also, there are Fn keys on both sides of the keyboard that helps too.

Agreed, learn to use them. My only complaint is the shift key and the up key are too close for me, sometimes I hit the up instead of shift and type on the line above…woops.

Thanks.  I will try to get used to them instead of getting used to doing without home, end, shift-end and shift-home.  The issue is the switching back and forth between habits since I use a desktop almost as much as my TR.

I am not a complainer by nature so I will quit whining and move on!

Well, your adding the third key, not the TR…the shift is an option that you want to use…just to get to the home and end keys requires the use of an extra button…

I understand your frustration because I use shift-home and shift-end on my desktop, but never on my notebook because like you, I don’t want to hit 3 keys.
