Sony Cordless Phone (thanks tmkt). It’s 900 mhz, though, but its still doing the trick. Additionally, with all the gadgets crowding the 2.4 ghz and the new 5 ghz ranges, 900 mhz ain’t so bad. :D
Yeah, 900MHz phones aren’t that bad…mine used to be worse and I’d get a lot of cross talk…however, it seems that a lot of my neighbors have upgraded to new 2.4 or 5.8Ghz phones because now my 900Mhz phone works really well. :D
[quote author=“nox”]Cross talk? Like, coherent cross talk? If you only listened in..
Nah, not worth my time. I’m not into that kind of stuff…also, my neighbors are all old for whatever reason so I really don’t need to hear them talking about their various bowel dysfunctions…

[quote author=“gr00vy0ne”]Out of curiosity…why do you have multple video game systems?
I bought a PS1 when it came out. When I went to college I bought another PS1 (I was home every weekend so I wouldn’t have to remove the PS1 each time I went home). I never sold them when PS2 came out because it didn’t pay (in my mind).
When the PS2 came out I was on line and picked it up the first day (waited at 3am until the store opened at 10am). Since the unit was the older version it developed the read-disc failure early…of course at that point nobody knew it could be fixed so I put it aside and bought another PS2. When I finsihed my basement I needed a DVD player so I picked up another PS2 so I can play the games upstairs and downstairs.
At this point it doesn’t pay to sell either PS1 and I still use both PS2s. I haven’t gotten around to fix the orginal PS2 so that one is just sitting.
I picked up a launch PS2 as well, but it manages to work just fine to this very day. I took two days off from college, drove to a small-town K-Mart, and waited outside from midnight to about 9 a.m. to get a PS2. They put us on a list, and sent everyone after the 30th guy home. However, the shipment only contained 5 PS2s, so there was a mini-riot when they said they didn’t have anymore. I was kind of scared as I walked up to the register to pay for it, about ten people followed me and offered to buy it off of me. One woman gave me a sob story about how her son was sick and really wanted a PS2. October 26, 2000 was quite a day. I don’t think I’ll do it again for PS3 though.
