I’ve been using a leather briefcase I picked up on deep discount at a Coach outlet (last year’s Connor model).  Good for legal size paperwork, padded, holds charger and 10 ft of cat 5, headphones.  Still pricey/larger when compared to other items I’ve seen discussed in this forum.

A couple times I’ve mistakenly put the TR in there while not standing by and wow did it come out really hot.  The last time I could have sworn there was the faintest acrid smell (but maybe I was hallucinating in panic). 

So far luckily no damage.

I forgot to mention I found a few faint scratch marks in the top cover of the computer due to rough handling as I jammed the TR past the zipper (Coach briefcase, not Waterfield—sorry off topic x 2).  I’m more careful now.
