[quote author=“Lennie”][quote author=“Rahul”]How exactly does the price match system work ?...you buy some product from some store and if u find it at a lower price at some other store within a certain no. of days u call up the store from where u originally bought the stuff and after explaining to them they credit u the difference on the card that was used for making the purchase ?
or am i completely wrong ?
Well at Circuit City in particular, if you buy and item you have 14 days in which you can get a price match from another store. This means that if CC has it for $2199 and Frys has it in stock of $2099, the CC will meet and beat Fry’s by 10$ so you’d pay $2089, which is $110 off.
I got my discount the day I bought my laptop becuase I mentioned Fry’s lower prices to the sales rep and she was able to call Fry’s to verify. IF you do it after you make your purchase then I believe you have to bring the receipt in.
Thats great !!! thanks for the explanation
