I think this has been discussed before, but I have had my adapter plugged in at home since I got the TR. I bring the iGo Juice adapter with me in the car and use it at the office when needed.
The VAIO adapter at home still works like a charm.
By the way, I’ve finally set up a wireless network at home.
got the wireless router connected to pc, and now actually sitting in the living connected through wifi on my tr laptop. niceeeeeeee.
although the speed is only 38mbps due to floor interference… but enough for surfing..
To all you guys that keep your TRs plugged in all the time, do you also leave the battery in at the same time? I remember hearing that it can damage the battery to do that…

38 is more then enough for surfing. If your going to transfer files of any large amount, I suggest going hard-wired…

Yeah I do. I’ve heard from both sids…some say its not good to leave it plugged in, others say its bad not to use the battery a lot. Either way your not going to get more then 2 years of a decent battery life and eventually it wont hold the charge..cutting that time down by a month or two wont effect my life in the least…it’s just easier to leave it plugged in.

This advice alone should kill all these battery concerns.
