The general public seems to be quite confused over who is doing what to whom at airports.  The airlines do not provide the security screening nor do the airports nor does the FAA.  If you want to be accurate in your criticism then you should do a little research into what you are complaining about.  You can blame the TSA for the current security situation.  It is a lot more complicated than the above named entities wanting to make your life miserable. (I am not trying to chide anyone, but the complaints directed in the wrong direction are somewhat tedious… I do know that all parties share responsibility with regard to the inconveniences. BUT, it is not done with the intention of causing problems for the traveling public…I PROMISE.)
