cool… but did it really do anything?, i havent seen no difference, but then again its always nice to have the latest version

No performance difference that I can see, but as you said, having the latest and greatest is always nice. 

i dunno… sometimes the philosophy if it aint broken don’t fix it may apply especially with pc’s and drivers. why take the risk of ending up with an unstable system? now, if there was some info out there that said these drivers would increase performance, or if you were already having problems it may be worth it…

I used to be super-cautious when installing stuff on my SR since it didn’t have a CD drive and re-installing things was a pain. The System Restore feature in XP is also nice for trying out installations. The initial poster in this thread and several co-workers reported success with the drivers as well, so there wasn’t too big of a risk involved. To each his own, I guess. 

Well, if you check the release notes , you will see that it does fix a whole bunch of issues. Of course, many of us may not see these issues since we haven’t used the graphics chipset in any of these cases. At least they’re still working on the drivers and making them better even if they do seem pretty solid already.

I installed it as well…no problems!

Works good for me - TR2/B with XP Professional.
