Hi,

I’ve just received my Intel 2200BG wireless card to upgrade my TR1MP.  Had a look on the Intel site and noticed that they point you towards your hardware supplier for drivers and don’t offer them on their site.

I assume that Sony have used the 2200BG card in the TR2MP so I wondered if anyone could direct me to where I could get the drivers on the web?

Hi, could you please tell me where you got your card from, I assume that as you have a MP you are in the UK.

Did you get it from dabs?

I ordered from Dabs and Insight as neither had it in stock, so I order from both to see which would turn up first then cancel the other.

As it happened they both turned up on the same day so I have a 2nd 2200BG going spare if anyone is after one?  Just want the price I paid + shipping.  PM me if you’re interested.

I have a TR2MP with the b/g WiFi. I downloaded an update from the http://www.Vaio-link.com site which I could forward to you but don’t know if you will need the original as pre-installed on my machine.

I am a very happy chappy at the moment as I have finally managed to setup WiFi from my TR2MP to Desktop via a Netgear USB2 device (took me 4 days experimenting).

Had all sorts of phone help I was starting to think I had a faulty WiFi in the TR2 as I could not maintain a link for more than a few seconds, then I remembered I have a TV to TV wireless transmitter for sending the signal from my Sky+ box to another TV which was to cause of all the lost connections.

Anyway, give me an email address & I will forward the file to you.
