[quote author=“Drachen”]I think there’s something screwy going on with hosts here. When I go to http://www.siliconpopculture.com/sonytr in my browser, I get forwarded to http://siliconpopculture.com/sonytr . When I click to log in (I usually go for either “PROFILE” or “log into to see your messages”), I get shunted to http://www.siliconpopculture.com/sonytr for some reason and I am at www for the rest of the session. Cookies don’t work across hosts, so it would explain why I am not registering as logged in when I first go to the site.
This happens on IE6 and MyIE2 (same browser, really) on three separate computers.
Thanks for your info on this problem. I’m looking into it on the server end. It’s definitely an issue with the missing “/” at the end of the url. I just found out that the issue is the way apache is setup on my hosting provider. They’re looking into it.
In the meantime, I’ve implemented a little PHP hack that forces the URL to always be “www.siliconpopculture.com/sonytr/”. Hopefully, that will solve most people’s problems until I can work out a better solution. So, sorry for the inconvenience folks. However, you should be able to login now at the correct url and cookies and everything should be working.
