My signature previously was biblically oriented. However, my avatar covers that. I did not want to be redundant considering this is not a scripture discussion forum. Should anyone have questions or concerns about God, I only hope you would mentally associate me and contact me PRIVATELY, since it is not just my hobby…it more my passion. I fully support keeping the forum focus on the TR / geekism in general.
My current signature is a quote I saw another Realtor using in a different geographical area. I thought it would not be inappropriate to use it.

I understand that this is not a scripture discussion forum ... it just happened that my signature is about God ... enough about me ... more about others

Ha, as for me, mine’s a little more interesting [and to the ladies, a little more romantic 8) ]
Anyways, it’s a quote from Robert Browning’s poem, ‘Song from Pippa Passes’,
The year’s at the spring,
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hill-side’s dew-pearled;
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in his Heaven -
All’s right with the world!
It reflects both my view of the world, as well as an allusion to Neon Genesis Evangelion, a popular anime of the past [for all you anime geeks out there] It being the motto of one of the key agencies in the storyline.
It might change from time to time, but that’s it for now.

There’s a car maker here that just released a commercial for an all wheel drive vehicle. The premise is that it’s driving on Mars and finds water before the NASA probes do and at the close of the commercial, someone from Mission Control actually says “Those damn Aussies” in an over exaggerated Southern accent.

[quote author=“Lennie”]My siggy is basically my hearts desire… I WANT A TR!! mrgreen *all in due time*
If you are wishing, why not a TR3AP3? Then you only have to add the internal Bluetooth…(Of course some on the forum have stated they can “create” a TR3(Frankenstein) cheaper with their own upgrades and that might be your plan too…)
well I DID have my heart set on a TR3AP3, and if anyone wants to buy me one I promise I wont turn it down!! :wink: haha.. it would just take me longer to save up to get one.
Also I started reading the forums and I realized that I REALLY could do w/o the 802.11/g and the 24 x CD-R [as I RARELY burn anything w/ my desktop as is], would be nice, but not a must for what I’m gonna be doing w/ the laptop. Plus I could save some $$..
And as far as upgrading.. I’ve done lots on desktops, but never on a laptop.. Call me crazy but there’s something exciting about cracking open a 2000$ toy! I just feel like I gotta do it!!
The more I hang out here, the more impatient I get…. I soooo want to go down to the local Circuit City and charge a TR3A on a credit card *soo naughty*
Not that I’m encouraging this but you could go down to your local BestBuy and have it financed. They have 24 months with no money down and no finance charges…but you didn’t hear that from me. :wink:
That would be a MUCH better option for me gr00vy, but alas.. the Best Buy stores around me do not carry the TR series… :| *shame on them* they DO have it on their website though!
I am an avid user of Best Buy’s no interest financing. It is a great deal if you use the discipline to make regular payments. I think anyone who gets into a TR (1,2 or 3) is going to be happy. They are great computers and you can customize them to your personal wants and needs.

Most people are not disciplined to do what you just said. I fell into that very trap several years ago and found myself pretty deep in debt. Once out of debt, my wife and I made a vow…no cash, no goods. It has made a huge difference on our spending (and makes the holidays much less stressful). :wink:
