anyone going to Defcon or HOPE (Hackers of Planet Earth) this year. I know I am at least gonna hit DefCon .... I wanna go to HOPE too since the WOZ is gonna be speaking there too.  HOPE is in NYC and DefCon in LasVegas ...maybe play a little tourney tex hold em at Bellagio

DEFCon’s a possibility for me, but only if i have the time this year. Might room with some local friends though, so it’s down to a matter of whether I have enuff $ for admission and food. HOPE….dunnoe, like i said, wanna donate to me?

I wonder how may TR’s will show up there lol ... prolly not many since everyone like to lug the BADASS/HUGEASS laptops for Capture the Flag and hacking.

I always went to Defcon but the last two years have been weird…almost like it was too popular and just random people who had no tallent showed up. I think the public word got out.

Anyway, I haven’t decided if I will go this year.

in vegas, no one cares. just look old enough and you can wander the casinos like a high roller.

i’m 26 but i look about 17, and i have never gotten asked for id in vegas.
