OK, Rahul, you win….by default though because I don’t know how to post pictures.  I am really curious to get input from some of the other forum members, though.  I can’t be the only one with a SUPER UBER RAM COVER!..........am I? :?

It may be that for a certain series of TR’s sony had ur style of cover for the RAM while for some other series like mine (TR3) they have this one.

TR1A here and my RAM cover looks just like Rahul’s.

Mine looks like his too, but when you hold it on an angle it has vents that allow air to pass.  Honest!  I know I’m not crazy.. Will someone please post and tell me you have vents!

Don’t worry truth I have vents in my cover… When you look straight on you can’t see them but if I look from the right angle I can see my pretty ram modules clear as day (well kinda…)

yes m8, we were both right as far as the RAM covers were concerned…i.e. me saying that mine had no vents and u saying that urs had vents…but i still won the other point we were arguing upon…whether placing the TR on a carpet would be safe or not…

I know its SAFE...it just makes the TR real warm.  Thats all I ever said.

Just thought I’d try and show how you have to view the vent cover to see the holes.
Looking straight on gives you this

which looks like yours Rahul but if you look at if from an angle you get this

which clearly shows the gaps…
