i’ve had it for a lil over a year now, no problem whatsoever. my dad has an even older version and no problem as well.

i’ll have mine replaced when PowerBook comes out though! :D

You’re funny.  Just use your fingernails.  I promise you will not scratch or hurt your TR.  I did it myself.  Honest.  Do it slow if you have to. :D

If any sticky residue remains…just use the same stickers to dab off the excess stuff.  I did it and it worked great.

i removed it and used my fingernail. They came out with no problems. no scratch at all.

I started off with a F505V a few years ago. got tired of that and went to a p5, got tired of that and just got this cam below. I took all the pictures with this camera, got it in about a week ago with the TR.  Its the U50.

2mp, .5seconds between shots (my main reason for buying), mem stick duo.

cons : 1” lcd, no zoom

For less than $250, im happy with it. quality is nice for everyday pics. However, as soon as I get rid of the P5, Im gonna opt for the T1.

I have the Canon AS400 and i am very very happy with it.  I compared it to the DSC T1 a friend of mine got and beseided the fact that mine gets better pics under all conditions the only con is the low video res whereas the T1 has a 640 X 480 which is awsome..

I also got a 256 compact flash and i only wished my TR had a compact flash slot as well ath memory stick.

everything bought from Comp USA back in december 2003 for 450 the camera and 80 for the 256 MB compact flash

I have the U50 as well!

Works really well in bright light but gives a lot of artifacts in darker scenes.

avalanche165, did you take that picture in front of the mirror or use another camera to take it.

You may want to re-read his post. He used the TR’s motion eye camera.

I still love the convenience factor with the memstick, and my mp3 player takes duo sticks as well, so i dont have to spend 100 bucks on a 256mb. anyway, the t1’s video is impressive, but takes up massive amounts of space.

Tiffany, the U50 is pretty cool isnt it? For the size and speed I love the picture quality. and yea it picks up lots of objects even in pitch black surroundings. the pre-shot light meter is a bonus, really helps make up for bad lighting.

I gotta say though my peoples, in my humble opinion, I think the T1 is one of the best overall digital camera’s out there.
