Now that most of us are upgrading to having the bluetooth on their TR’s, what do you plan on doing with it?

Absolutely nothing. Considering my cords or card haven’t come yet. But hopefully, to sync with my ppc & mouse on the fly.

Right now I use it strickly for the mouse.  Eventually I will upgrade my PDA and phone, but my current ones work fine right now.

I use mine for mouse, keyboard, synchronization with phone, quick file transfers, using phone to control my TR, and some quick file pushing. I occasionally use it for PDA sync as well although I’ve pretty much weened myself off my PDA.

how do u do that ? ne ideas if nokia 3650 can also do something similar ?

I wont be able to make an upgrade internally to get bluetooth as I simply am not able to…. 

But if there is a dongle or something that I could get I would love that…and if so I would get a wireless printer which is THE thing I want to be able to use without having to use a cable ...

Just the same stuff the dongle is used for now, without the hassle of plugging it in or carrying it around. I only use the Bluetooth for my DiNovo keyboard/mouse combo and to sync with my T616 phone. I sync with my PDA over WiFi and send/share files that way as well.

I am already using the internal BT for Clie synchronization and file push with my desktop.  I am waiting to get my BT mouse…and I am also waiting for more BT products to hit the market.

Tiffany.  The Sony BT donlgle that gr00vy0ne reviewed is a great option.  It is a very small device and you still get the “cool blue light”.  I recommend that choice over others I have used (Linksys BT dongle).

Great review!  The dongle option looks great (obviously an integrated, built-in option is ultimate but hey - you do what you have to do).

I don’t really need a headset, don’t own a PDA (don’t need one), have no real desire for bluetooth enabled keyboard or mouse…but a printer…mmmm…Now that’s where I want to be able to ‘cut the cord’.

I’ve been looking at the Canon printer 80-something and it looks great. Also been looking at using an adapter (like: http://www.mpitech.com/bpa/?header=mpi_tech ) to enable BT between the dongle on the TR and the printer. Options are great - downside is that is makes decisions harder

Would love to hear if anyone out there have had any BT printing experience and what they ended up using.

I guess I did things a little backwards.  I got the BT dongle first because I had a great low price opportunity.  I plan to use it to sync contacts to my next cell phone (mine currently has no BT) and purchase a BT headset for the phone.  This is mainly why I did not opt for the internal upgrade.  I am sure my next laptop (unless Sony decides to finally make a tablet) will come with internal BT.

The UK TR2MP has built in bluetooth & I connect to my SE P900 smartphone mainly.

I basically use it for connecting to the phone and upload/download address books and SMS and to provide network (internet) access to my Palm T3 while in the house (not more that 10m away though). Ahhh.. almost forgot.. while on the road I use the BT dongle to route audio from the TR to a Jabra earpiece and make phone calls/video calls for free
