Help: DVD/CD-RW is not detected

Help: My DVD/CD-RW is not detected.

After installing CD Creator Platinum, I tried burning some music but I got an error message saying that no CD Copier is detected.

I only had my TR3A in 3 weeks and really never tried burning anything.

Please help.  Thanks

Also, what software comes with TR3A to burn CD?

Try updating your CD Creator…I’d also check their site to see if the DVD drive is supported…newer drives sometimes take a while to be supported.

My TR3AP3 has “Drag’n Drop CD+DVD” from DigiOn Inc. installed.  I have only burned some pictures to CD-R and also the recovery disks to DVD-R and CD-R so far.  No problems, but it is very basic software.

Did your softwares come with the TR? 
I am surprised that it does not come with at least a basic one.

windows xp provides basic burning facilities. i dont know if ne cd/dvd burning software was included with my TR but I now use Nero 6 ultra ed. for burning.

My guess is that with TR3AP3 they do include something, but with my TR3A I don’t see anything.

I very much doubt it since the recovery DVD’s that I have are (I think) for the entire TR3 series since it mentions PCG-TR3AP on it. So, the software should be the same too on all the TR3’s.
