Does anyone use Microsoft MN-700?

I just got one yesterday and read mixed reviews. 
Some says that the signal once in awhile drops and I confirmed that it does.
Could it be TR’s wireless NIC (Intel Pro) or is it Microsoft MN-700?
What are your observations on your Base Staions?

I have one and it’s really been fairly good except for the low performance during WPA transfers.

It hasn’t dropped connections for me so it’s hard for me to say.

I have three base stations…yeah, it’s crazy. I have an old school D-Link DWL-1000AP (for 802.11b access), Microsoft MN-700 (for 802.11g access) and Sony PCWA-A500 (for 802.11a access) and they all have their quirks but they all work. I’m planning on retiring the DWL-1000AP and switching the MN-700 to mixed modes to support the other people in my house.

... I see ... I read that some people that are using the same NIC (IntelProB/G ...) are experiencing the same problem on different base Stations.

i have one and at first i had that problem with my tr3ap2. went thru sonys tech but they didnt know crap. i figured it out myself. all u have to do is turn off the 802.1x authentication. it worked fine with windows zero configeration and it works fine now with the new version of proset that suports the b/g adapter

Had one, been very happy with it.

Conection constantly drops when I leave the TR for more than 3 minutes.
I was thinking perhaps it’s a NIC setting -

how do u change the NIC setting, i think my NETGEAR b router did the same thing when i log on using remote desktop connection wirelessly and leave it for a while.
